About the Library Director

Meet Ramona Miller, our Library Director.

Jasen and Ramona

Ramona was born and raised in Mesa,Arizona. She moved to Palmer in the fall of 2009 and was appointed to be the library director in January 2012.

  • Experience

Ramona began her library experience just prior to entering kindergarten. Her mother worked at the Jr High School around the corner from where they lived. Ramona could often be found in the work room applying dots to the back of books or using the rubber cement to glue on pockets to the inside cover of the books.  Later when she entered into High School she continued to work in the library and helped the library to automate (the  bar code system), this was one of the first automating systems used in the country, way before computers were a mainstay in the home. She continued her library experience by working at the elementary school her children attended in Casa Grande, Arizona.
